Return of the Living Winamp

One of the greatest music players still here! It features lightweight size, great performance, familiar interface and incredible flexibility. It has all it takes for a modern player, including playback options, easy controls, various repeat and shuffle modes, and rich sound settings.

If you have already established your musical preferences, you can just add your folders to its library to easily access any artist, album, track, or playlist. On the other hand, if you constantly download and discover new music, it’s enough to drag a file or a folder onto its window, and Winamp will open it automatically.

It opens various audio file formats, and it can be expanded with plugins the actual version still supports. Yes, listening to original CDs or high-quality rips with Winamp makes sense: its sound is bright and clear, and with good speakers, you will enjoy the quality.

Radio fans can enjoy SHOUTcast, an online radio also developed by Nullsoft and compatible with Winamp. All its stations can be accessed in Online Services right in the browser.

Unreleased, But Available

Its story is as remarkable as its features. It’s been the most popular audio player in late 1990s and throughout 2000s, and it even made its way to smartphones, but in iTunes era its popularity declined, and finally, it was discontinued. But it was the time for its fan base to raise its voice. Supported by community, the developers are here to make Winamp great again.

So now we can say Winamp is back from the dead. And it doesn’t look or sound like a zombie. Winamp free download is available for Windows only, but we hope it will make its way to mobile platforms as well.

Still True

It doesn’t matter if you have seen the times when it was the only decent player, or iTunes has always been around for you. It’s a miracle that in 2019 you can download Winamp to your PC, and it’s still great.
